Continuous Classroom Improvement
Room 231 is a classroom that uses a PDSA (plan, do, study, act) cycle to monitor our classroom improvement. In each step of the cycle students are involved in monitoring their goals and helping study our results. We will use a PDSA cycle to monitor progress in writing, reading, and math. This page will be used to relay information regarding our goals and also a place to post our classroom results.
Writing
Long Term Learning Goal- By the end of the information unit 100% of students will increase their score one level (1/2 point).
Current Plan- Each student has a specific plan based on the first assessment of information writing. They will monitor progress with their goal throughout the unit.

Long Term Learning Goal- By the end of the year 100% of students will increase their scale score on the Acuity Math test.
Current Plan- We will add three digit addition.
Results from last goal- 100% of the students scored 80% or better on the subtraction fact test. 20/21 students scored 80% or better on the addition fact test.

ELA (Reading)
Long Term Learning Goal-By the end of the year 100% of students will increase their reading levels at least 3 levels.
